A merge validation occurs when the structure of the unsaved data gets corrupted. To fix this, you will want to:
- Record any changes that have not yet saved on the document in a separate location for future use.
- Save any other documents that may have unsaved changes. You can access these documents by clicking on the briefcase icon at the top right of the SmartCare window.
- Log out of SmartCare and on the message that references Unsaved Changes, click on the ‘Discard All’ option.
- Log back into SmartCare and go to the document in which the Merge Validation Error has occurred.
- Re-enter any changes that you captured in step 2.
- Save the document.
